Designer Fabrics and Curtains

Choosing designer fabrics for your very own curtains is a great thing to do. You can match and tailor different fabrics according to what your interior design in your home is, and also according to the soft-furnishing designs and colours that you have in your home.
Designer fabrics offer a range of benefits. When selecting your designer fabrics, here are a few things to consider.
Weight of fabric
There are all kinds of different designs that you can choose from in curtains and blinds. Depending on which curtain or blind you have decided on, a key thing to consider is the fabric weight.For light and sheer curtains, light fabrics such as cotton and voile can be used. For heavier festoon blinds or swagged curtains with a more luxurious feel and look, you will need to choose richer, heavier and more sumptuous curtain designer fabrics to create this kind of look.
Colour of fabric
Of course choosing the right colour is going to be key to the type of look you want to create in your home. You could opt for tonally similar colours, such as lighter and darker shades of the same colour.
